IN PHOTOS | To have smooth implementation of programs, projects and activities, salient matters were thoroughly discussed during this month’s Management Committee (MANCOM) meeting of the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas, held in Siquijor today, April 8, 2024.

The MANCOM was presided by DA7 Regional Executive Director Angel C. Enriquez, together with Regional Technical Directors Cirilo Namoc and Wilberto Castillo.

In her message, Director Enriquez said there is a twist in the usual monthly MANCOM meeting which will be held in other provinces of the region hosted by the respective PATCOs and research stations, and for them (stations) to showcase its activities. She also instructed the Human Resource Management Section (HRMS) on the employees career development plan as well as the organizational succession plan and the reconstution of the performance management team (PMT).

In addition, Director Enriquez also instructed on the status of all research station development plan.

Agenda topics were tackled to include the status of the 1st quarter Budget Execution Document (BED) 1, 2 & 3, Data Privacy Act, Procurement, Farmers and Fisherfolk Month activities, Summer Youth Internship Program, El Nino Damage Report and Food Security Plan, among others.

Also discussed were the proposed human resource omplimentation for the operations division

On matters to data privacy, there are personal, sensitive and privilege information that need to be processed and treated with confidentialiy, must need consent to prevent any breaches.

Reported damages on El Nino as reported by the some local government untis were already validated.

Part of MANCOM’s activities were the courtesy visit to Siquijor Governor Jake Vincent S. Villa and Congress Representative Zaldy S. Villa.
