As part of the assessment, the team visited prominent Goat Multiplier Farms known for their operational excellence and innovative practices: Jeffins Goat Farm in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Sabby’s Goat Farm and Jungle Lord Ranch in Danao City, Cebu, and Barili Dairy Goat Farm and Cara Integrated Goat Farm in Barili, Cebu. These farms served as models for studying effective facility design and management practices that could shape future standards for goat housing prioritizing animal welfare that ultimately contributing to higher productivity.
