Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) Regional Technical Director (RTD) Wilberto Castillo, welcomed the staff of the DA- Fisheries Information Division (DA-AFID), as they paid courtesies to the management of the regional office, presenting their purpose of coming to Cebu.
Their visit was to conduct site interviews and documentation of the various agri projects of the two farmers cooperatives and associations (FCAs) – the PESTALES Agriculture Cooperative (PAC) and the Lamac Multipurpose Cooperative (LMPC). The gathered materials will be used in producing success stories for feature in the Aggie Trends (the official DA newsletter), Maunlad na Pilipino (MnP) radio program and DA’s Social Media Platforms.
The two FCAs are among the region’s successful and active cluster groups, and featuring them at the national level will broaden their exposure and be an inspiration to other FCAs.
