IN PHOTOS | Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) Regional Executive Director Angel C. Enriquez administered the oath-taking of the nine (9) newly-appointed and promoted employees today, March 21, 2025 at the DA7 Complex in Mandaue City.
The five (5) promoted employees were Jovanie Baguio as Budget Officer 1 under the Administrative and Finance Division (AFD); Agnes Guanella Café, Agricultural Center Chief II under Field Operations Division(FOD) as the APCO of Siquijor Province; Michelle Merin as Senior Science Research Specialist of the Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC) under Integrated Laboratory Division (ILD); Margrette Magsanay as Senior Science Research Specialist of Siquijor Research and Development Center (SRDC) and Mary Ronville Aba as Science Research Specialist II of Negros Oriental Research and Development Center under the Research Division.
After years as contract of service (COS) of DA7, the four (4) newly-hired employees were Shajarah Mae Paguray, Mecco Betonio and Daniel Balabala under the AFD, and Jenerissa Carpentiro under the Research.
Director Enriquez, in her message, shared the process in selecting, hiring and appointing of employees, challenging these hired and promoted employees to prove among themselves, as well as to others that they are competent and really deserved their positions.
She cited clauses in the signed oath of office, among these “to faithfully discharge to be best of [my] ability, the duties of [my] present position; obey the laws, legal orders and decrees promulgated by the duly constituted authorities under the Republic of the Philippines, and impose the obligation [myself] voluntarily without mental reservation or purpose of evasion.”
Further, she encouraged the employees to continue to be of service to the clients of the agency- the farmers and fisherfolk, and the nation as a whole.
