IN PHOTOS | To provide the indigenous people (IP) with the needed agricultural interventions to improve and develop their ancestral domain (AD), the Department of Agriculture in Central Visayas through the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng mga Kababayang Katutubo (4K’s) Program conducted a 1st quarter planning and budget utilization review and assessment at a venue in Cebu City on April 23-25, 2025.

DA7 Regional Technical Director Cirilo Namoc, said the DA is always behind to support the IPs though the 4K program, hence there’s a need to look into the projects and activities to be implemented that are needed by the different group. Different areas (AC) of the IPs have their own agri needs, so a feasibility study or project proposals are needed, RTD Namoc shared.

He added the importance of having production data analytics to know the over-all status of the programs implemented.

The 4K is a special program of DA for the IPs.
