DA7 provides Saturday class, features AMAD services
The Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAD) provided a Saturday class today, June 22, 2024, featuring the programs, projects and activities (PAPs) of AMAD held at the DA Compound in Maguikay, Mandaue City.
Some 15 participants from the Mandaue City Agriculture Office, representatives from Tabok Farmer’s Association (FA), Socorro FA, Brgy. Tawason personnel, individual farmers and youth attended the said class.
Among the topics discussed were the Young Farmers Challenge Program (YFCP), Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS), and Marketing Assistance Services (MAS).
The purpose of the Saturday session is to inform and educate the farmers, cooperatives and associations (FCAs) and agri enthusiasts on the various agricultural-related programs for them to be informed about the industry.
