The Bohol cloud seeding team composed of personnel from the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM), 900th Weather Group of Philippine Airforce and the DA7’s Provincial Agriculture Technology Coordinating Office-Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Bohol joined the Run For Resilence in celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2024 held last July 15, 2024 at the Old Airport, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

 

The run, which was hosted by the Office of the Civil Defense-7 (OCD7) has the theme “Bantayog ng Katatagan at ang Pagbubuklod sa Layuning Ktheahandaan”.

 

MSgt Jordan B. Oberez of PAF won first price. Joining him in the run were SSgt Mark Harold Lictawa, Sgt Jiggs Gonzales, A1C Angel Charles Panganiban, Capt. Malahi Kinggingan, Engr Jocel I. Mendoza and the DA7’s PATCO-Bohol DRRM Focal Cecile A. Opada.

 

Ryan Palma of the Provincial Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO), in his welcome message, called for every one to be always vigilant and resilient any time and place.

 

After the run, a unity ride followed. The activity was attended and participated by regional, provincial and municipal DRRM staff and volunteers.
