The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office VII is the central body entrusted to accelerate agricultural development in Central Visayas, thus it always stands as the lead agency in any undertaking in so far as agriculture is concerned. Agriculture development is looked upon as an indispensable part of the total regional development process. With the mission of the Department to increase farmers and fisherfolk income as an integral component of national recovery. It should clearly spell out its policies and operating procedures for the public and most especially to the clientele who should have a better understanding of what, why and how the Department works towards rural development.

Its Organizational Structures The main purpose for creating the Regional Field Office of the Department of Agriculture is to have a more aggressive, cohesive integrated and responsive administrative machinery essential to the accelerated successful implementation of the agricultural development programs of the government.
