Farmers cooperatives and associations (FCA) and institutional buyers (IB) attended the business-to-business (B2B) matching during the 2nd day (August 5, 2025) of the Agri’Konek Afford Summit 2025, held at the Cebu Provincial Capitol Ground.
Around 70 FCAs and 15 prospective buyers met, presenting the various farm produce and products and the volume needs, respectively.
During the market matching, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was forged between Green Table as (FCA/supplier) and NONKI as the buyer, while the First Consolidated Cooperative Along Tañon Strait (FCCT) is finalizing the MOU with Golden Prince Hotel, based on their agreements. Another 8 FCAs – IBs awaits finalization of booking for contract.
Meanwhile, at the capitol social hall, Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary Cheryl Marie Natividad-Caballero, shared the roadmap of the programs and project of DA.
The two-day food summit was successfully conducted, with the strong partnership and collaboration between private sector and government, as it geared towards the development and advancement of the agriculture sector.
