Agri news | As a follow-up to the recently conducted 17th World Bank Implementation Support Mission (WB ISM) in Bohol last May 2-3, 2024, the component and unit heads of the Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rural Development Project -Regional Project Coordinating Office 7 (DA-PRDP RPCO 7) attended a meeting, as called the Project Director and Regional Executive Director Angel C. Enriquez held at her office.

Director Enriquez, instructed the IBUILD and IREAP component heads to come up with strategies and recommendations on the subproject implementation, especially to those projects that are due for completion this year and ensure for its payment. She added, for the IPLAN to report on updates of the Swine Value Chain Analysis (VCA).

Director Enriquez, further instructed all the heads to prepare an action plan which will be presented in the RPCO 7 assessment on May 23-24, 2024.

During the WB Mission exit conference, the Bohol Dairy Cooperative (BODACO) was declared a sustainable project, while the Bohol Silage Production Enterprise received a positive impression from the WB team, as it gives holistic approach and a means of support to the dairy cattle production. While on the farm-to-market roads (FMR), there are minor findings.

Over-all, the WB gave a satisfactory rating in the projects visited as announced during the wrap up meeting of the mission held at DA Central Office on May 9, 2024.
