IN PHOTOS | Agricultural Extension Workers (AEW) handling the High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) from the Province of Bohol attended the 1st Quarterly Meeting held at the Department of Agriculture-7’s -Bohol- Agricultural Promotion Center (DA7 B-APC), Tagbilaran City.
The presence of the AEW in the meeting manifested the commitment of the Local Government Units in supporting the high value crops program of the province.
Organizing the farmers into a cluster was one of the topics discussed and given emphasis on its advantages and benefits.
Aside, identified interventions for the farmer beneficiaries in the municipalities for the year 2024-2025 were tackled to include distribution of seeds, machineries, and garden tools. These initiatives will empower the local farmers by providing them with essential resources for crop cultivation and management.
The meeting was attended by DA7’s Bohol APCO Roman Dabalos, Provincial Agriculturist Liza Quirog, Provincial HVCDP Coordinator Rufa Ugay, HVCDP Focal Deseada Dabalos, and staff from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and DA7.
