To showcase the performance of high-yielding open pollinated varieties (OPV) of white corn among corn farmers in Tamlang, Sta, Catalina, Negros Oriental, the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) conducted a site validation for the establishment of a corn technology demonstration.
Norlyn Lariosa, the identified farmer cooperator, said she was happy that her area was identified to be a learning site for corn production as this will benefit the farmers in their community.

Henry Cabonelas, Corn staff, briefed the farmer cooperator, provided with the mechanics of the project implementation and their role as cooperators.
