Farmer-members of the Siquijor Organic Farmer Practitioners Association (SOFPA) received farm supplies from the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) National Organic Agriculture Program, held recently in Siquijor amounting to Php 253,260.00.
The distribution, facilitated by the DA-Central Visayas (DA7) in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, distributed plastic mulch, shade nets, trellising nets, wheelbarrows, plastic drums, and sprinklers.
This initiative is part of the government’s continuous effort to encourage and support farmers engaged in organic farming.
