A three-day workshop on the crafting of agriculture and fishery modernization plan (AFMPs) for LGUs was held starting today, May 27 to May 29, 2024, at a venue in Dumaguete City.
The workshop, a joint partnership and collaboration of the Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI7) and Negros Oriental Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Center (NOAFEC) was attended by the various Local Government Unit of Negros Oriental represented by the Municipal Agriculture Officer/City Agriculturist/Municipal Agriculturist (MAOCAMA), Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO), Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Provincial Fishery Office (PFO), Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO), NOAFEC Staff and DA7’s Provincial Agriculture Technical Coordinating Office (PATCO) attended Strategic Planning for FY 2025-2030 today in a hotel in Dumaguete City Negros Oriental.
The main objective of the activity is to acquire additional knowledge in formulating plans, identify the essential and appropriate programs for each municipality and identify the priority programs and projects to be implemented by NOAFEC.
