Some thirteen (13) KADIWA suppliers and consolidators in Negros Oriental attended the KADIWA Retail Selling Coordination Meeting held recently at a venue in Dumaguete City.
Conducted by the Department of Agriculture Central Visayas through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA7 AMAD), the activity aimed to facilitate effective coordination and planning, ensuring the efficient market linkages between local agricultural producers and consumers.
Discussions include the registration in the Farmer and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS), Civil Society Organization (CSO) Accreditation, Food Safety, KADIWA Retail Selling Updates and AMAD Functions and KADIWA Marketing Platforms.
Among the participating KADIWA exhibitors were the Kapinyahan Farmers Association, Samoyao Hills RIC, So. Guilongsoran Brgy. Siapo Farmers Association, Southern Negros Agri-Fishery Multipurpose Cooperative (SONAMCO), Valencia Dairy Cooperative (VADCO), Jimalalud Cacao Coconut and Coffee Association (JICCCOFA), Janay-Janay Farmers Association, Egang Carol-an Farmers Association, Brgy. Basak Farmers Association, United Valencianon Paunay Farmers Association, Mangnao Canal Farmers Association, Gulayan sa Bagacay Urban Farmers Association.
