Farmers and youths engaged in farming joined the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) in a fun-filled “Pista sa Nayon” as it honour the patron saints of the farmers and rural communities, St. Isidore Labrador.

A one-day activity, the Pista sa Nayon showcased the talent of the male and female farmers and youth, in a folk dance contest, as well on well-dressed or best exhibit booths and best-dressed male and female.

The winner for folk dance and best-dressed female was awarded to Macaban Kakaw-Krayollo and Lubi-Netibo Agriculture Cooperative Macaban Criolo, while the best-dressed male went to Arapal Livelihood Inc.

Winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd received a cash award.
