Agricultural services were provided to a church group in Dumaguete City during their Welfare and Self-Reliance Summit 2024 held last Saturday, May 18, 2024.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints, represented by their Stake Welfare and Self-Reliance Specialist Mary Jane Lado said the activity seeks to connect and care for the community, especially those that are in need, while teaching the principles of promoting self-reliance and self-respect.
Through the DA7’s Provincial Agriculture Technology Coordinating Office (PATCO) in Negros Oriental, services offered include distribution of vegetable and corn seeds, reading materials, seedling trays and some face masks. Also, presentation on DA programs and projects were also been discussed.
