Local government units (LGUs) and farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) from the province of Cebu attended an orientation on the Financial Grant Assistance Program for Enterprises conducted today, April 3, 2025, at the Department of Agriculture -Central Visayas (DA7) complex in Mandaue City.
The event was attended by seven (7) LGUs and ten (10) farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs).

Aurea M. Madrio, the chief of DA7’s Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA7-AMAD) acknowledged the LGUs and FCAs for attending the activity, as she said, “talagsaon rani nga magkauban ta ninyu hilabi na sa lagyu pa kaayu ang uban. Inyu makauban ang special nga kauban sa AMAD kay gusto sila mulantaw sa inyuhang needs sa community, maong nia ang Special Concern Section.”

Features of the financial grant include Agricultural Enterprises and Cooperative Empowerment Assistance (AECEA) and Business Development Assistance (BDA) initiatives, along with the KADIWA Financial Grant and the Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS).
The financial grant supports enterprises in the agricultural sector, facilitating access to funding that promotes agricultural development, enhances marketing strategies, and improves production practices.
The orientation was spearheaded by AMAD staff, David E. Amrinto, with Jonessa A. Omboy, and Eden J. Salazar.
