The Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) through the Agribusiness and Marketing Division (DA-AMAD) conducted an orientation on Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS) held at a hotel in Dumaguete City.

 

FFEDIS is a web-based information system designed to assist the government in formulating plans and programs on enterprise development, and to enable the producer groups, private sectors, Local Government Units (LGUs) and potential donors to respond to the needs of the local and world markets.

 

Topics discussed in the orientation were on Republic Act 11321 “Sagip Saka Act”, AMAD Programs and Activities, KADIWA Financial Grants Assistance Program, Agri-Entrepreneurship Capability Enhancement Assistance and Civil Society Organization (CSO) Accreditation.
