The Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) hosted this week, July 8-2, 2024 the National Livestock Program (DA-NLP) 2nd Quarter Assessment and Planning Workshop held at a venue in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

Jonathan Sabiniano, the DA-NLP Director, in his message, said the activity aims to assess the status and the highlight of the livestock program implemetation, identify gaps and challenges encountered during the fist semester.

The assessement, he said is necessary for them to know the needed support to the regions and move forward in the next semester to achieve an efficient and sustainable livestock industry.

One of the activitied conducted was the consultation with the Swine Breeders and Suppliers.

The assessment was attended by Usec. Deogracias Victor Savellano, Asecs. Dr. Dante Palabrica and Dr. Benjamin Albarece; and representatives from Regional Field Offices (RFOs) of I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII and XIII.
