IN PHOTOS | Personnel from the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (DA-BAFE) paid a courtesy visit to DA7 Regional Executive Director Angel C. Enriquez today, April 4, 2024 on their on-site field visit to the Biogas Plant Facility in Naga City, Cebu.
Their visit is to inspect and evaluate the establishment of the facility and look into the possibility of putting up a renewable energy production using the livestock waste.
The BAFE staff, headed by Engr. Analyn G. Sagana, with Engr. Alexander Nicole L. Tan, Engr. Romel A. Caballero, and Engr. Richard M. Manolo, presented to Director Enriquez, the strategy of having a centralize or cluster collection of livestock waste, particularly on swine waste to maximize its impact and the benefit it will provide for the farmers. They also elaborated on the Renewable Program for the Agri-Fishery Sector (REPAFS) under the guidance of the agricultural engineering group.
They were joined by DA7’s Regional Technical Directors, Engr. Cirilo Namoc and Dr. Wilberto Castillo, Engr. Edna Yu of the RAED Division and other RAED staff members.
