IN PHOTOS | Some eighteen micro-entrepreneurs participated in the agri-based livelihood, capability and leadership training held in Jagna, Bohol last March 26-27, 2024.

Conducted by the Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7), the training served as a platform of these entrepreneurs to showcase their products, reflecting the diversity and creativity within their community.

DA7’s for Bohol Rice Focal Person Ma. Chona Maleza, emphasized the importance of a training as this will enhance the agricultural skills of farmers as well as expand their opportunities in the value chain.

This event, Maleza said, gave the entrepreneurs to display their products and provided them with opportunities for capacity building, networking, and market expansion.

The training aimed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills, leadership capabilities, and overall livelihood, contributing to the sustainable development of the local community.

The two-day training was also attended by RSBSA Focal Cecile Opada, GAD staff member Rachelle Madrigal, 4K area coordinator James Datahan, OIC MAO Wendy Gallero and other PATCO staff.
